Pueblo, CO – Southern Colorado Youth Go (SoCoYoGo) announced the launch of a new app for youth ages 13-18 in Pueblo. The SoCoYoGo digital platform, which has existed for two years, launched the app to increase ease and usability of the existing digital platform.
SoCoYoGo is a youth-only online platform that allows Pueblo’s young people ages 13-18 to earn points for visiting positive and healthy opportunities in the community and redeem rewards at local businesses. SoCoYoGo is an innovative way to encourage healthy behaviors and avoid using drugs or alcohol.
“SoCoYoGo is the first innovative prosocial application specifically designed for our local community. This program was developed to close the financial gap so many of our youth encounter when they want to access some of our local prosocial events, activities and eateries,” said Kelsey Moore, a member of the Southern Colorado Youth Go Committee. “It’s easy to use and youth can quickly earn chiles that can be redeemed for great items from our sponsors. All you need to do is sign up!”
SoCoYoGo guides Pueblo youth to create an account, earn “seeds,” build up “chiles,” and earn digital rewards and redeem in Pueblo for items such as a free ice cream cone or free school gear. The app can now be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play Store on almost all mobile devices.
